Experience to Mustafa Shopping Centre

My first visit to Little India was during Primary Four heritage tour and it was just short stay in Little India so i guess going to Mustafa Shopping Centre can be considered as my first visit to Little India. Supposed to take a bus from Bugis to Little India but Yvon and i can't find the bus stop so we just kept walking towards the direction which we think should be the way to Mustafa. Lucky for us, we took the right route and got help from this Auntie who assured us that we are walking towards the right direction.

Soon enough we reach Little India which was pretty obvious since we were surrounded by Indian Stores and it totally feels like we've stepped into another country. Continued walking for quite a while and finally found Mustafa Shopping Centre when we follow our guts and walked into a small alley which leads to Mustafa Shopping Centre.

Mustafa Shopping Centre is indeed the best shopping place for cheap and good stuff but of course, not all the things in there are cheap but i would say is of resonable price and cheaper than the market price. Mustafa trip ended with me getting my first ever luggage.

After 3 hours struggling on the internet and calling sistic hotline, i managed to get tickets to Jay Chou world tour concert in Singapore!! This is crazy and YES it took 3 hours!! Horrible sistic website!! The network was so bad that it couldn't accept the high traffic and allow customers to process the payment page!! At first i got good seats like ROW 1 but the payment page just doesn't process and i couldn't get it but now i'm still able to get tickets for the concert and it's on his birthday so i'm still happy about it!! Looking forward to his concert next year!!

Flu season for me...

First time i ever had such a bad flu and sore throat which according to the doctor that the flu was bad enough which affect my nerves and caused me to feel giddy causing me to not able to walk straight. Gotten 2 days MC from school on thursday(18 Oct) and Friday (19 Oct). As i was supposed to be working on Friday, with my MC and didn't go work that night.

On Saturday, felt better so didn't get another day MC from the doctor and went for a long 10hours work. I guess it's because i was in air conditioned environment for 10 long hours without my medicine since it will caused me to feel sleepy, my flu and sore throat got worst then before. suay ah!! Couldn't go work on Sunday again so went to see the doctor again and gotten new medicine and even anti biotics!! more medicine to be taken!! The medicine given to me this time round was the most i have ever gotten so far!!

Sleepy and feeling wobbly!! there's school and work tomorrow!! But good news is, i'm going to book for JAY CHOU's concert tickets tomorrow!! yipee!!

Rundown of what happened when school re-open.

15 October 2007

Class starts at 0900. Lecture for Inventory Management. Basically, the lecturer just read out the whole chunk of words from the powerpoint slide which was reflected on the inventory management notes which we bought!! ~ BORING!!

Break for 2 1/2 hr. Had super awful lunch and went to some empty classroom to slack until the time for course briefing.

1300: course briefing!! The same content which was being repeated over the years, every single semester!! BORING!!

1400: System Security class. At least this wasn't that bad. Did pay attention to what the lecturer was saying and understood her!!

16 October 2007

0900: Web Database Development lecturer used to be my lecturer for another module in previous semester. Nice and funny guy so his lesson was ok!! But for this lesson, it was installing of software for that module. Took up quite alot of time cause some of the discs are corrupted!!

1200: Lunch at the canteen at ICT block. queued for the western food as that's the shortest queue!! seriously, there's a reason why the queue was that short as the food really sucks!! first, the fish and chip took real long to get it done!! the fries were cold too!! the uncle gave me a complimentary tiramisu as i waited real long for the fish and chip but it was awful!!

Conclusion: lunch sucks!! i want subway in school!!

1300: system security practical class. It was rather fun. All hands on stuff. I get to "hack" my friend's computer!! haha!! interesting!!

1600: going for another class which is Supply Chain Management!! hope it will end soon and i can go for shopping!!

Most importantly, PREORDER JAY CHOU's album!! hehe!!

Class cancelled... woohoo!! good news for me since i'm down with flu.

Class a per normal but my flu got worst and even caused me to feel giddy that i can hardly walk straight. Went to see a doctor and was given 2 days MC meaning no school and work for me until 19October2007. Doctor said that the giddiness might take a longer time to recover from it so can get another day mc from her if necessary but seems that i've recover from it so don't think will be necessary. hehe.

Anyway, today is the first official working day of mine at BORDERS. Was posted to the information counter and it was really busy and i didn't know i need to page for service manager to inform them about me going for lunch and the customers keep coming to the information counter for help so i was too busy to even page for the service manager when i know i'm supposed to call for them. In the end, i was late for my break like 35minutes and only have a brief 15minutes break and back to the information counter. Overall, it was pretty good. At least this time my colleagues at the information counter was helpful. Not like those the other time who ignored me and reprimanded me for something which i wasn't informed of!! hehe!!

Going to school tomorrow!! sianz 1/2 but excited too!! haha!! My study and work life is going to start officially tomorrow!!

Had my dental check today at the dental clinic located near my house. My first time to this dental clinic and when i got in the first thing which got into my mind was like, "woah... do they need four dentist and helpers in the room?"

It's been at least 2 years since my last dental check so was rather afraid that my teeth are in bad condition but lucky me. The dentist cleaned my teeth followed by checking of my teeth then she told me all my teeth are well taken care of except for one tooth right at the back with a pretty big hole and did filling for that. *e hole was really big* I've done filling for my teeth before and i must say, this one was the longest and painful one compared to those in school dental check.

Paid S$70 for:

Cleaning: around $20
Consultation: around $15
Filling for tooth: $35

What is wrong with the society??

After work today, not long after i reach the bus stop, i witnessed what i think is really ridiculous and selfish act. There is this elder who is blind and was seeking help at the bus stop for people to help him keep a lookout of bus 851 but none at the bus stop actually help him. People sitting around the bus stop or even people who walked pass him. Even elders who always comment that youngsters nowadays are not helpful didn't even bother to help him too.

Happy for 周杰伦 and 苏打绿... Simply love that song by 苏打绿~小情歌. The performance this year in Taiwan Golden Melody Award was not as fascinating as the past performance... News about this year opening performance by Jolin made it as though it will be an awesome performance but it turn out not really up to expectation. In the performance there was this part where she was surrounded with fire and for that not more than 3sec fire thingy, her company bought about 10million(i think) TWD insurance. 张韶涵, 苏打绿 and MC Hotdog had performance together too. Fresh combination, funny, nice interaction with the audience. 蔡琴performance though simple but her voice is wonderful.

Nicky 李玖哲 won Best Male Vocalist... His so cute on stage when giving his speech!! ~touching~

30 May 2007, went to watch Pirates of the Carribean At World's End with Pei Shan, Kelly, Yvonne at Orchard Cineleisure... our usual movie place. haha. The movie was at 2340 so we had late dinner together at the hongkong cafe where we chatted for quite a long time....

Pirates 3 was rather good. Not as bad as what i heard from others and reviews about the show. At least this was not a disaappointment like Spiderman3... Before watching it, i read on wikipedia some spoilers of the show and knew that at the end, Will Tuner has a son but the show ended without showing his son, therefore i decided to wait till the end of the credits. Von waited with me and indeed, i was right that there's a real short showing of Will Tuner return to see Elizabeth and his son after 10 years. hehe. Not very expected as the credits was a real long one and who knows that there will be something at the end of the credits. haha.

After movie, we stayed at the sofa seats chatted and waited till like 6am, we left Cineleisure and walk to Chin swee road to have breakfast at Red Star which we realise that it's only opened at 7am. haha. First to reach there. Left at around 8.30am or so and went home though we wanted to go shopping but it was way too early.

The end of the real fun crazy outing with my girlfriends...

Review of Pirates of the Carribean:
Overall i think it's up to my expectation excluding the fact that some scenes are rather confusing but i still manage to understand the whole show so it's fine with me. I think the part where Will Turner propose to Elizabeth at the time when they were fighting with the enemies was real funny and sweet as well. haha... But sad that they can't be together in the end, only get to see each other 10 years once!! sad... But still, i enjoyed the show!!

Went to some fair at Suntec Convention Hall 401 on Saturday to support my dearest brother!! Something to rant about... there was this bloody idiotic guy at one of the facial booth where they keep forcing us to buy facial products and even persuaded my mom in a very bad manner to do the facial try out. After doing the facial try out on my mom, the staff ask me to see the difference and replied her flatly that i don't see any difference which is obvious that there really isn't. In the end i got to show them a damn blackie face and force our way out of that bloody booth. stupid promoters!! should have done like what my bro said and took my bro Wu Shu center brochure to bug them to go over to their booth. hehe. idiot facial guy~

There's still nice stuff like watching my bro perform and those cute brats of the Wu Shu Center to perform. really cute!!

13 April 2007.... Friday e 13.... haha... went to stay over at Pan Pacific cause Joy get a free room there and she invited me over together with kel and shan as well as von but von got to work and we can't contact her so she didn't go over. Had a fun time with the four of us chatting and gossiping about the past and stuff. When Jo came and join us, we then go to makan sutra to have supper and chat for quite some time as well before going back to pan pacific. In the room, Joy and Jo slept pretty quickly but of course with us trying to not let them sleep in the end we gave up and left kel, shan and i playing big2 for quite some time then shan decided to watch 加油！金顺。 so kelly went to sleep and i watch with shan. in the end, shan watch for like a real short while and fell asleep while i continue to watch. Honestly, i wasn't tired at all, it's just that no one to play with me big2 and all so i got nothing better to do and i fell asleep too. haha. woke up at 8am and no one was awake again so i continue to sleep and finally woke up for the second time at 10am. went for breakfast at BK and went to shan's workplace sit sit, help help, chat chat.

Shan suggested buying 4D for the room we stayed for the night and we strike the consolation prize!! $2 bet per person and that win us $120 each. so fun! haha! it's the first time i win 100 over for 4D. haha. the first time i win 4D was with shan too and it's only 20. this time more money. haha. gambling is not a good habit but playing once in a long time and winning some extra cash is rather fun. haha.

ok... that's it. got to go out now. hehe.

Day 3 of internship

Day 3 of internship!!

During the holiday, i was staring at my lappie screen almost every single day watching shows online and i don't feel tired even watching for like close to 15hours daily!! During internship, i stared at the screen for like 6hours today and i felt damn tired after 3hours. so tiring!! It's good that i'm doing work and learning stuff so that i can include it in my report and VIVA. though it's only the first week of the internship, i've already start thinking of what i need to do for my report and VIVA. Had to submit a TOR(term of reference) by the end of this month and have yet to work on it yet!! haha.

P/S: My dear girlfriends, when can we meet to go for another crazy day at E2Max chamber? haha.
